November 20, 2025
Tulsa, OK – Air EMS announced today that the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has awarded the company an Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) to provide air medical transportation, ground transport, patient care, and associated support services for the El Paso Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) in El Paso, Texas.
The award represents a re-award to Air EMS, demonstrating the company’s established record of reliable, mission-ready service in support of the VA, the U.S. Department of Defense, and other federal agencies.
“Air EMS is structured to perform this type of work safely, effectively, and cost-efficiently. We are grateful to the Department of Veterans Affairs for recognizing those strengths,” said Justin Graves, Director of Administrative Services. “Our entire team looks forward to supporting our nation’s veterans—and their families—through transportation and care services.”

The El Paso VAMC is a key facility within the national VA healthcare network. The campus has grown significantly in recent years, adding new community clinics and launching major construction projects. Today, the El Paso VAMC supports more than 35,000 patients and facilitates over 300,000 annual visits. The VA provides a broad range of vital services to U.S. military veterans, including healthcare, disability compensation, education, home loans, life insurance, vocational rehabilitation, survivors’ benefits, and burial benefits.
