Air EMS Proudly Recognizes Veterans Day 2025
November 11, 2025
Tulsa, OK – Tuesday, November 11th marks the 71st anniversary of the national U.S. holiday to honor military veterans of the United States of America’s armed forces; Air EMS is proud to recognize and celebrate all military veterans, including those employed by our company past and present, for their dedication and sacrifices on behalf of our country.
As an SBA-certified service-disabled, veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB), Air EMS relies on veterans as a key component of its workforce to effectively serve both the commercial and government/defense sectors.
“Veterans Day is an event that Air EMS takes special pride in commemorating,” commented Air EMS President (and US Navy veteran) Angela Hall. “We thank all veterans and their families – and as a tribute to our team, Air EMS will be posting feature profiles about our veterans during Veterans Day week to recognize them.”
Originally celebrating the end of World War 1 in 1918, Armistice Day was officially observed for that one-year anniversary on November 1, 1919 by President Woodrow Wilson. Decades later, following World War 2, veteran and Alabama native Raymond Weeks rallied various veteran organizations to lobby then General Dwight D. Eisenhower and Congress to create a national holiday honoring all military and war veterans on Armistice Day. President Eisenhower signed the bill into law May 26, 1954, providing an appropriate event for the nation and world to honor all U.S. military members who have served.
