AIR EMS AWARDED CAMTS ACCREDITATION

AIR EMS AWARDED CAMTS ACCREDITATION FOR FIXED WING AND MEDICAL ESCORT SERVICES

 

Air EMS, Inc. (Air EMS), announced today that the company has been awarded full accreditation through the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS) for its fixed-wing air ambulance and medical escort services.

“Air EMS is honored to be accredited through CAMTS for medical escort and fixed-wing air ambulance transport at the Emergency Critical Care level.  We are proud to be among the select providers that are dedicated to a higher quality of care and safety through adherence to the CAMTS Standards” stated Air EMS President and Program Director, Angela Hall.   Air EMS, in conjunction with its aviation operator, Jet Logistics, provide fixed-wing air ambulance transport to clients around the globe utilizing a diverse fleet of aircraft including one of the industries only Hawker 800A’s for long-haul transports, in addition to Learjet 35/36 and others.

Justin Graves, Safety Officer, reports “Air EMS voluntarily participated in the accreditation process to show our dedication to quality patient care and safety.  We are committed to doing the right thing by our patients … all the time.”

Air EMS™, Inc. is an indirect air carrier which provides and coordinates air ambulance transportation.  All flights are conducted by Jet Logistics Inc. - FAA Air Carrier #ZP7A427J.  This carrier assumes responsibility for the operational safety of the aircraft and shall have final authority to initiate, conduct or terminate any flight. All patient flights will be conducted under FAR Part 135 regulations.
